    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I installed 4.2a alfresco version on my system then due to error in the system, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1)I copied full folder of alfresco with the alf_data folder &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;then&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2)After reinstalling the fresh copy of alfresco in the system i copied the previous version alf_folder in the alfresco,I started the services for the first time but it sometime does not start the tomcat and postgre&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;and sometime if it starts it does not configure the old data like the authenticaion.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My suggestion, instead of chaning the properties file, why not try the following method&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;—&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Disable solr in properties file, stop, start , then stop&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;take the back of alf_dir and databases&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;install new instance on E drive,give the same database parameter do not start(at the time it ask) the instance when the installation is over.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;copy alf_dir from the backup to the new installation, do not copy any directory other than "contentstore" and&amp;nbsp; "contentstore.deleted"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;start the service&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You have now your instance running in E drive with all your previous files&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
