I might be dreaming, but I would love to see a collaboration between Alfresco Desktop Sync and CmisSync.
Here are the most interesting pieces of our code, it is very Java-like:

HI , i have the same problem , i need to synchronize a specifc folder in my hard disk , i am obliged to use windows xp so i am unable to use CMISSYNC , also alfresco desktop sync has these bygs you just said please did you find a solution ? Helpppp
