Hello,I'm a new user to Alfresco and managed to get around the first obstacles successfully. Alfresco 3.4.d is now running inside a Debian VM, CIFS and IMAP is working. In the Alfresco Share Dashboard I have a "My Documents" dashlet, which (I guess) should display my favourites/editing/modified files

Hello,

There are two separate issues at play in the "My Documents" dashlet:
1. It doesn't show content outside sites
2. It doesn't show folders

I submitted a patch for issue #1 (just for favourites actually) as ALF-19451.

Issue #2 was marked as successfully resolved in MNT-1972 as you noted, but - the "resolution" was merely to change the documentation to read that folders should not appear in this view. Sort of a cop-out… And the documentation still explicitly mentions both documents and folder, so it's still confusing and arguably broken.

There exists a separate API call to get favourite folders rather than favourite files though, which could be a good starting point for fixing the issue.
