External CAS Authentication + guest access

Hello,We are using 3.4.x version Yale CAS client for SSO.Is Yale CAS client supported in Alfresco 4.x versions? I see in documentation "External" subsystem is recommended for CAS SSO.1) Does External subsystem provide guest login access to Alfresco Explorer and Share clients?Thanks

Hi,
even if it is not reported in Alfresco Supported Platforms compatibility matrix http://www.alfresco.com/services/subscription/supported-platforms, in our project we're using CAS 3.5.0 with Alfresco 4.0 without any problem.

No, when you try to access Alfresco login page CAS intercepts the call and ask you to provide username/password but you don't have any password for 'Guest'.
We created manually some 'operator' users useful for maintenance purposes.

Thanks for the response Andrea,

Our current implmentation uses YALE cas client, and custom Alfresco/Share filters which works fine with 3.4.3 but not then onwards.

It mentions no need to change web.xml, if so, then where to put CAS related properties?
