Hi folks - I am kind of new to this forum but my Company is an avid Alfresco using community.

I am the IT person for the Company and have a need to get my users who use MS Office 2007 and 2010 suites to integrate with my Alfresco Community installation.

Up to now - my Windows XP and Office 2003 users have no problem but we have new PCs some running Vista and some Windows 7 all 32 bit. I cannot seem to find the correct MS add-on that will work with these Office versions.

Can I get any help here on where to get the proper add-on and if there is a special way to install it ?

Much appreciated.

Our experience is that the Office add-ins won't work in Windows 7/ Office 2010.
Best approach is to add the SPP/ VTI amp module to Alfresco to get Sharepoint Protocol support.
CIFS is also fine in a lot of cases - edit directly or drag the file onto the __CheckInOut.exe file.
You'll need some fine tuning of authentication/ permissions in a larger environment but Alfresco does integrate with AD.

Regards,

Sasquatch
