Hi All,

I have to implement a workflow in alfresco share. It is a loan request - approval process. When completing the workflow , the issue is that the requester can also view and approve the request. It could not be allowed. There are three folders LoanRequest, LoanApproval , and Final. How we can prevent the person who have to request the loan in LoanRequest from viewing the LoanApproval Folder? When we have try to remove permission of the folder through alfresco, then the workflow is failed to excecute. Is it necessary that the person who have start the workflow could upload a file in the destination folder of the workflow? It is a very urgent requirement. Any Help would be greately appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Vishnu.

Hi mitpatoliya,

Thank you very much..

I got the problem solved. As you suggest i added the user as contributor and one folder is keep with no permission to anybody, only for site manager. When the user upload and started the workflow the document goes to another folder where, there is no permission restrictions. But in the second stage of the workflow the document goes to the folder where the permission is restricted for the site manager. So the normal user can't proceed with the workflow in the second step.

Thank you very much for your great support…

Regards,
Vishnu.
