Hello all,

A big prospect expressed the need to access their Alfresco documents from anywhere, even when offline, like with Dropbox.

I searched a lot but could not find such a tool, so we created CmisSync, which aims to do that.
The goal is Alfresco, but we will try to be compatible with any CMIS-compliant ECM product.

There is still a lot of work to do.
If anybody is interested in helping, here is how: http://cmissync.github.com
Also, feedback and ideas are very welcome 🙂

Cheers!
Nicolas Raoul
PS: Alfresco can already be integrated with Dropbox, but here this is a different scenario. Here, all files are stored on Alfresco (and some on the users' computers), no content is sent to any third-party.

Very cool, Nicolas, thanks for sharing. I like that you are planning on keeping it pure CMIS.

Jeff
