Sumanta,
We have a open source migration framework called OpenMigrate which has a source adapter to connect to Documentum, and a target adapter to import into Alfresco. We have also embedded OpenMigrate as a subsystem in Alfresco for increased performance. How much content are you looking to migrate? How complex is the metadata? Some links to get you started:
