Hi,I have an alfresco Community - v3.2.0 (r2 2440) server running perfectly with ldap as subsystem for authentication. Now I am trying to configure access through cifs with the same authentication method but I can't get this solved. I could make cifs work, and I could authenticate with the system us

The table at the wiki page http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Authentication_Subsystems#What_are_the_Authentication_Subsystems.3F tells, that LDAP won't work for CIFS. You might try another authentication method (like passthru).

We haven't done this yet, thus I can't provide more details at this time (sorry). I gladly appreciate your experience :-).

Thanks for your quick reply.
Is there a way to make the users that have already authenticated thought ldap to be a system users too? I don't want to have people using different users for webinterface and CIFS. If we could do that, people will use the same name for auth even if its not against LDAP.
