If you installed 4.0.c using the binary installer and it is a fresh install, you are probably using Solr. If you upgraded an older version or are using the WAR-only distribution, you are probably using Lucene.

Enterprise users have the luxury of using the Share admin console to see which search engine they are using. Community users have to check alfresco-global.properties. If the index.subsystem.name is set, that will tell you which one you are using. If it is not set, you are using Lucene.

If your repository is small enough that a full re-index isn't an issue, and if you are using Solr and suspect that might be part of your problem, you might want to set that property to lucene, then set index.recovery.mode=FULL and restart.

This will switch you back over to Lucene. After the indexes are re-built, you can see if your tags start working. If they do, that's a clue. If they don't, I guess that's one too.

Any fix to this issue? In 4.0c when I go into the tag manager in the admin console this shows this error.

I cannot get tag to work.
