I am new to Alfresco and wonder if someone here can help me out. I have successfully installed the Mac PPC version. First things first. Do you have a database called "alfresco". How did you install ?

I am running it on an Power Mac G5 (Power PC chip) on OS X v10.5.8

Originally, I downloaded the appropriate installer for Mac (or so I thought). I elected to use the included MySQL installation in the Alfresco install app. I installed it, but when it got to the part where it installed the included MySQL, it gave me errors regarding the type of chip. So, I uninstalled Alfresco and then installed MySQL separately. I then ran the Alfresco Installer and elected to install using the MySQL I installed separately.

After the install, I tried logging in by going to http://localhost:8080/alfresco/ and it gave me the 404 error.

I have tested the MySQL and it seems to be running fine, but I am not a MySQL whiz.

It didn't look like I had a database named "alfresco" create, so I created one. Still getting the 404 error though. Any thoughts?
