Check you alfresco jvm settings….

Hi,
Although I am considering myself not a complete newbee to neither Java, my Macbook or the commandline interface, your answer unfortunately did not help me at all.

I can confirm the same symptoms and did not get any helpfull answer from the Network. Since I used a Mac Installation I supposed, that questions on the whereabouts of my, or rather Apples view on their Java installation are taken care of during the otherwise flawless installation procedure.

I have to admit, that I actually don't know which JVM settings wihtin Alfresco I would have to touch and where… I can use vim allright, but I need a pointer!

From what I have read so far, there seems to be a misconception on Apples side about where to put a decent Java installation. Now what Links do I have to tweak to make tomcat start and provide its service as required?

I'd like to reactivate this one, I have the same problem since updating to OS X Lion, with Community Edition 3.4.d
