After create a rule not possible to add file

Hi.When I create a rule for a folder that I can not add file into that folder via simple user. But I can upload file via administrator. Upload FAILURE.When I delete a rule I can upload file via simple user.I gave all rights and permissions. (Editor, Coordinator, etc.)What's the problem?

Hmmm, this is a rather bold guess that you have the exactly same problem, since neither the original poster nor you gave any details: what kind of rule are you defining? What error do you get when your rule is in effect? Anything in alfresco.log which might give a clue?

Rule of thumb: the more detailed your question, the more likeliness of an good answer 🙂

Hi, sorry about that but i think there's a slight difference on our problem, please refer to this thread: http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=39436

mine actually doesn't matter if it's an admin or user, you just can't upload documents on a folder where a rule is enabled. The rule is, if a new document uploaded or updated, send email (notify_user_email.ftl) to users specified.

Maybe mail doesn't send.
Did you set smtp settings on alfresco-global.properties file?
