Only admins can add users in 3.3G [resolved]

I found in Community 3.3G that managers can add users via the invite page but it fails in the backend. If I make the manager a system administrator it works. this seems to be fixed in the enterprise version 3.3.3 but is it fixed in the community version 3.4 ?

I found the problem, in this case it was my issue.
I was adding using a script that did require admin access.

I found the problem, in this case it was my issue.
I was adding using a script that did require admin access.

Resolved by using a restfull client to add the user ( needed to define the user id and the current UI does not allow this )
and the restfull client would log in with admin access.
