Can't access Alfresco over the network

I have installed alresco 4.0b on my windows 7 with default settings.It is working fine on my local machine.But when I try to access it from other computer on same network like http://ip-address:8080/alfresco, it took too much and eventually get time out error.Please help

Have you bound to the external IP address? So not localhost or 127.0.0.1?

Have you got your firewall blocking access?

I just have managed to fix the issue.
I have enabled the property cifs.ipv6.enabled in C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\subsystems\fileServers\default\file-servers.properties file.

Check your system firewall may be it's blocking to use outside your machine.........

I suspect it is firewall issue becasue i checked after disablling the firewall and also other application hosted works fine when accessed from client (BUT the other application is not jsp based)
