Yes.

2. I am very new to Alfresco and in the process of starting the project. Could any one please tell me whether it supports creating the different document templates (doc,pdf,ppt) and media related file to upload (pics,vedios) and publish these to specific pages of front end application which is developed with html/flash.
Yes - probably.   I'm not clear what you are asking.

3. community edition supports all these features ?
Yes

4. is community edition will have all document management, record management ,wcm inbuilt or we have to install seperately ?
RM and WCM are separate packages.   Please read the installation guides.

5.can we down load enterprise edition with out commertial support option ? or we can only down load community edition for free ?
You can download enterprise and it will give you a 30 day trial license.    You can also arrange a longer trial by calling alfresco.
