Does Alfresco Community track comments?

I am needing a feature that tracks user comments in the Documents Library. I know you can add comments but they are posted one after the other and cannot be searched. Is there an add-on or a feature that allows a user to search for comments, or even categorize them?Thanks!JFW1103

It's a bit discouraging seeing so many posts that have never been replied to especially with the lack of support in the free Community version. So, I eventually called Alfresco and they explained that they do not have and they do not foresee ever having a comment tracking feature where you can tag comments, search comments and track comments by type.

I am also looking for a way to index user comments in Alfresco Share.

It appears that comments are excluded from searches in Alfresco Share due to unscalability. However, it is do-able (see above thread).
