    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The foundation and JCR interfaces are not "remote" interfaces which is why the examples will start another instance of Alfresco.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However if you are adding another web service inside the alfresco webapp then that web service will be able to use the local interfaces and you will avoid the problem of adding an additional layer.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I suspect that your web service is not configured correctly.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Please post your code and more details of how it is deployed&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
