Once you install and start Alfresco, you should see it running when you do a ps -ef|grep tomcat.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can also tail the log which lives in /opt/alfresco/tomcat/logs/catalina.out.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If everything appears to be normal you should be able to navigate to the Explorer client by going to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://localhost:8080/alfresco" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://localhost:8080/alfresco&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. If and only if that works you should be able to navigate to the Share client by going to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://localhost:8080/share" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://localhost:8080/share&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Jeff&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi, sorry for this very newbie question. I have finished installation on debian. First I tried on WinXP, and errors with MySQL appeared always. So, I downloaded the community install version for linux, and started it from console. It seems it finished ok. And now? How can I start the first interface</description>
