See if there are any errors alfresco.log and then post them.

Correct, once the site is generated you can add the pages you want to appear including wiki and discussion.

Problem solved! I ended up reinstalling the program and everything is working as expected. I was sure to chose "Run As Administrator" when I did the install. Maybe I forgot to do that during the original install.
