      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I actually solved this issue, and have php calling the REST api quite nicely. I've put together many other functions related to person, but the same methodologies can be used to interact with the REST api from php-derived application. Is the php api that exists still actively developed, or would a rest-based alternative be useful to the community? I could certainly upload what I have somewhere, if people are interested.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
