Hi guys,i recently discovered Alfresco and i want to extend it. In a use-case I want to change the behavior of a node creation. All user are assigned to a group. I want to check whether the user has a specific role on the parent directory. If this is the case, I want to change the owner to the group

I suggest you leave the concept of "ownership" alone.

What is it that you are trying to achieve with your role? You probably just want to use permissions.

The user belongs to a group of which he inherits the role/permissions for a special directory. If he creates a node in the folder, he is the owner and not the group. I want to make the group the owner of the node. that's it
