Ok, banging my head against this for a day now and finally decided to join the forum. I've been trying to figure out how to create a document expiration policy such that documents will be reviewed/updated regularly. I understand this is a part of the Records Management plugin, but am unable to find it. Most of the information I've come across seems outdated. I am using 4.0.a and do not find Records Management as an option during install, nor do I find alfresco-dod5015-share.amp anywhere. The online manual refers to a RM dashlet as though I should automatically have it. Help would be appreciated.

The online manual refers to a RM dashlet as though I should automatically have it. Help would be appreciated.
Due to the wide-reaching refactoring of Share during the 4.0 development cycle, further work is needed to the RM module before it is compatible. We are also using this time to rework the module to address some of the limitations (e.g. strict hierarchy). This work won't be complete before the end of the year.

For now, you'll have to use 3.4 if you need Records Management.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks. I had considered that it might not be fully featured yet, but had a hard time finding a 3.4 download. If Record Management is going to eventually be available in 4+ I think it would probably be better to start with 4.0.a than to have to worry about migrating from 3.4 to 4.0 later on, no? As long as I can add record management say in the next year or so that would work for us.
