AVM is related to WCM(Web Content Management).
It will contain all your webprojects and it contents in case you are using WCM.
And It could directly point to what ever the folder you like under you repository.
There is one URL called view in CIFS associated with each content.
If you configure your drive with the URL from the folder which you want to keep as root then it will show the files from that folder only.

Hi Mitpatoliya !

I can see the "view in CIFS" link in all repositories ; if I click on it, nothing happens, only on site repository, the url is like file://alfrescoa//alfresco. If I browse \\alfrescoa from my windows client, I can only see the alfresco "share" (pointing to site repo.) and this famous AVM.

What I would like is to have from the \\alfrescoa\ CIFS share a folder pointing to my root (ex \\alfrescoa\root) and another one for ex, pointing to a sub repo. for ex \\alfrescoa\projects, and remove the AVM.

At least, if alfresco can manage only on "share" have the root repo. instead of the site sub repo.

I think I have to digg info the files config, but I can t find exacly where.

Regards,

Raphael.
