As with many modeling questions the approach depends upon your requirements.   As you dig into what you need to do your solution should become clearer.   It it doesn't then you have probably gone wrong!

I'd start by treating it as a separate file.    There is clearly an association, but the lyrics are not the same as the sound and potentially have different life-cycle and requirements.

For example consider whether you could have several revisions of lyrics leading up to a final performed version or many performances of the same lyrics, perhaps by different artists.   Or do you want a really tight 1:1 mapping?
