Option 2: If I want to develop the application in .Net, how should I start the development? What are the APIs offered? Can someone guide me in-detail? What all .dlls do I need to refer to?

I request for your kind help on the points above. Also, suggest me the best approach.

What will be your target system?

TGS has an open source tool called openMigrate which you can use to migrate the content and metadata.

There is an another GUI based product called Migration Center but the free version will only allow you to process 5,000 documents

Hi Amit,

I think neither TSG's openMigrator nor Migration-Center support direct migration from Alfresco to Livelink.

Either you can build your own utility to do that or first export content and metadata from Alfresco and then load it in to Livelink.

What version of Livelink server are you running, 9.7 or 10.

I have CS10. I am going to build my own .NET utility to do this job. Do you think CMIS is the right option which I have chosen to do that? I found that Web services are not recommended for this. Could you pls share your thoughts on this?
