I'm new to the alfresco share program so please bare with me:

I'm currently running Microsoft Office 2007. I have Alfresco Share running on google chrome and I "edit offline". When the document is downloaded to my computer as a "workable file" I make some text changes and pull up the Microsoft office add-in. I need to constantly log in to the alfresco server with my username and password credentials. When configuring the Alfresco server API I did click "save authentication". Is there a work around of this?

I was curious if there is a way to "check out" a file, make text changes and check the file back in without either uploading a new file from my computer, or using the Microsoft Add-in.

Thanks
