Bug found in permissions

OK. I am the admin of our install and I use this account to do everything in Alfresco. Lately a lot of my users have been having issues with workflows not giving them permissions to complete the task. I have found out it is because the file doesn't allow the user to delete even though the folder

That doesn't sound like a "bug" but a permissions problem with your workflow.

You need to work through the permissions of your files and folders and if your workflow needs to do something that would not normally be allowed then you will need to "run as" with a higher authority.

Well my workflow is nothing more than a simple workflow that moves a file from one folder within a site to a different folder in the same site. The folders have the same access levels. Why is it that files created by an admin aren't deletable by a coordinator or collaborator of the site when they have said permissions on the folder?

Hi

When the workflow is underway - check the permissions reported for the doc in the folder where it will be deleted.
Does the doc you create inherit permissions? Is this the same after the move?
