There are some versions with a known bug in the "modified by" stuff in Share. Not sure if that applies to your version, but it could be misleading you.

You need to provide lots more details, for example how are you authenticating and whether the user has actually been deleted.

Thanks for your feedback.

We are authenticating using a user name and password. I am not sure what other way can we confirm that the user has been deleted, as we can no longer log in as Admin. The only thing we can see is the comment "modified 1 week ago by user A(deleted user)" under documents that were previously uploaded by user A. This has now happen to two users on the same tenant and the mentioned user can no longer log into the system.

Let me know what other information you need or tips we can try to troubleshoot this. Any feedback and comments is much appreciated.
