topic Transforming MS Word to XHTML in Alfresco Archive

Hi,

I would like to use Alfresco to transform MS Word documents to XHTML using the OpenOffice converter. When transforming from MS Word format, OpenOffice produces xhtml documents with inline images where html documents would have separate image files. I tried putting an XHTML document-format into oppenoffice-document-formats.xml, but this did not enable Alfresco to do the transformation.

Is there a way to configure Alfresco to be able to transform .doc into .xhtml? If not, then where in the source code do I set up a rule for converting .doc to .xhtml?

Thanks in advance

Morten

Maybe this is a simplistic answer - but can't you just copy and paste .doc to html and lose all unwanted Word coding?
