topic Designer as (more lightweight) BPMN editor in Alfresco Archive

Would it be possible to have a simple distribution of Activiti designer which includes a minimal Eclipse and is only usable for editing BPMN diagrams?

I have now installed eclipse and included Activiti designer, but it seems like a difficult process for people who are not used to eclipse. For people like me who use it only for editing the BPMN it would be much easier if you could just point it to the directory which contains the files and start editing. I would prefer not having all the other project directories, not being forced to use a parent "diagrams" directory etc.

Joachim

Actually, we are considering this and have an issue you can track, although it hasn't been stamped with a release yet. Take a look here: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/ACT-707
