I have a question, we are doing POC (Proof of Concept) for Alfresco integration with our application and we will be using Alfresco only for Document Management purpose and nothing else. And we will be developing our own UI for Alfresco DM, so we will connect/integrate with Alfresco Foundation API.So

Unfortunatly its not as clean as it should be but there's been a few attempts over the years to organise things better you should see a "core context" which should contain the bulk of what you need.

I suggest you start with a full repo and then strip away the bits that you obviously don't need. Then you can re-evaluate.
