The problem is quite obvious from the error message. There's a spurious "searchService" property that should not be there.

However what caused your inboundSMTP-context.xml file to be out of line with your code?

What version of alfresco are you using? And in particular where did your inboundSMTP-context.xml come from. 3.4 is too vague.

Hi mrogers,

I am also getting the same above error. Can you help me in solving it? I am using alfresco community 4.2c and placed by inboundSMTP-context.xml in /opt/alfresco-4.2.c/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/subsystems/email/InboundSMTP.
