That message implies a connectivity error when Solr tries to call back into the Repo (configured by default to use https). You're second log snippet shows failure to start properly, eg.

 Could not load org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.symmetric.AES$ECB ‍

You can also search forum posts for "GetModelsDiff return status is 404" (include the double quotes).

Have you checked if your database is running and your alfresco server is pointing to the correct database?
