Hi I have been success in defining a document type with some properties based on text and date, and I am able to see it when I check the document property.Now I need to : - while viewing the properties, some of the field need to have check box and others drop down for users to select the desired p

Check box = look for type boolean
Drop Down= Add List constrain to the property with data type string.

Drop box worked for me
About Drop Down option, I was not able to do it. I am trying out options given in "http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Constraints"
But it is not working out, is there any documentation in adding drop down option to ContentType

You post helped me a lot, it helped to narrow my search and I was able to enable drop down
Now "Drop Down" also working
