We have a large number of sites in Alfresco, all with different managers (creators).Because we have changed our policy on the groups to be member of these sites, everyone needs to update his/her site memberships. Hi,
There is a solution to this problem even if I m late to answer , but I think it may help others struggling with the same issue:

Let's suppose that you've created a site called test , a group called <strong> site_test_SiteManager</strong> will be created automatically .
Connect as admin and Try to add him to this group ( This group is one of System groups) .
