I am using alfresco-community-3.4.c in solaris 10.Now my issues is ,when input chinese character in share search inputbox, it will return nothing and the value in search input will be unrecognizable。for example, I input '中国' , the result page show in search input will be 'ä¸å›½'.The url is correct,

Any one can help?
Am I missing some configuration steps?
My solaris support chinese encoding.
Alfresco explorer search is ok, but search result is not accurate.

I solved this issue, it's because my tomcat setting url encodig is not settting to UTF-8.
<Connector port="8080" URIEncoding="UTF-8"/>
using mod_jk,
<Connector port="8009" protocol="AJP/1.3" URIEncoding="UTF-8"/>

Search does not seem to be working for me on any PDFs I upload. Search on text files is working fine. All I did was install the application, upload some PDFs into the repository, and try to search for strings (even single words) that exists within the PDFs. 0 hits every time. The Mime types on the documents is correct. I am using version: Alfresco Community v3.4.0 (c 3335) schema 4113. Is there something else I need to do for this to work? Thanks.
