Strange Alfresco Permissions Behavior

Hi,I'm facing a strange Alfresco permissions behavior, don't know if it's a bug or it was designed to work this way.Build: v3.4.0 (a 3169) (postgres)Let's suppose you have a Space named "Dad" and a sub Space of this one, named "Son".And you have a user called "UserY" that is a member of the "GroupX"

Hi there,

I tried reproducing your error but could not. I was able to do the following:

* Create group 'groupX'
* Create user 'userY'
* Added 'userY' to 'groupX'
* Created 'Dad' folder inside 'Company Home'
* Created 'Son' folder inside 'Dad'
* Granted CONSUMER privs to 'groupX' on 'Dad'
* Granted EDITOR privs to 'userY' on 'Son'
* Uploaded (using 'admin' account) an XML file to 'Son'
* Was able to check out this file as 'userY'

Is is possible that the file in question has permissions that are interfering with your ability to check it out?

Hi

It looks like you have created a rule or behaviour that someone can not execute.
It is possible there is a bug in one of the Alfrecso behaviours.

However without rules it can not be reproduced it seems - so check your rules.
