Hi,I wanted to know which API is called inside alfresco while transforming a content.Another thing that i was curious about was that like the way in which a transformation rule acts on the content of a folder, is it possible to apply the same transformation operation on a file present in repository

Hi,
you can find more info about content transformation here http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Content_Transformations
In my case, for example, I used the transformInternal to build a custom transformer in order to extract original signed content from a .p7m signed file.

Thanks for your help abarisone.

I also wanted to know how a rule is associated with content transform and how to know how a rule carries on content transformation i.e. which file has all configuration regarding this process.
