Hi,I apologize if this can be found on the forum (I have done a fair amount of searching already), but the amount of information regarding Alfresco is a bit daunting to say the least. This is a big thing for us, but I couldn't find any information on this yet if Alfresco can do this OOB or with addons.
-> Have a look at Share's blogs or simply use a new type.

-> You can send your email from a rule or an action as and when a comment is added.   Or you can drive your blogs through a simple (or complicated if needed :wink: ) workflow

There's some other stuff we would like to add, like a online agenda, and a online progress report. But the first two have our immediate interest of need atm.

-> A separate question: When working with Alfresco, you can use the server as a virtual drive, but is there some kind of check-in/out system from the File menu in all apps used?
No.    The app's menu is not under the control of Alfresco.   As and where its possible such as via CMIS, CIFS and SPP there will be COCO actions.

Hi,

A bit of a late reply, but thanks for the answers.
After some more digging Alfresco Share is probably the most logical solution for us.

We're finishing our little list of wishes, and having a meet n greet with a Alfresco integrator soon.
