Alfresco and LDAP

Hi there,I followed this link to configure Alfresco and LDAP: http://www.ochounos.com/?blog&entry=6But without success, can't login with LDAP users. Is missing anything or do you have any other suggestion to follow?Thanks.

It depends upon your settings not the settings in some random blog!

Please post your config and any relevant errors from your alfresco.log

About logs nothing is written about this i guess.

About configuration file you mean the alfresco-global.properties?

The only change i have done is

authentication.chain=alfrescoNtlm1:alfrescoNtlm,ldap1:ldap

instead

#authentication.chain=alfrescoNtlm1:alfrescoNtlm,external1:external
#external.authentication.proxyUserName=

Could you point the steps to follow?

Hi there,

i could finally authenticate users in Alfresco against LDAP AD. But the syncronization (import groups and users) is still not working. Checking the log i get connection timeout errors.

17:14:20,922 Userystem WARN [security.sync.ChainingUserRegistrySynchronizer] Failed initial synchronize with user registries
org.alfresco.error.AlfrescoRuntimeException: 06190000 User and group import failed

[Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect]

Any clue?
