Alfresco 4.0d Installation Error

Can someone please help getting the following error when installing this on centos - #Warning: Problem running post-install step. Installation may not completecorrectly Error running /opt/alfresco-4.0.d/postgresql/bin/createuser -p 5432 -U postgres–no-superuser –no-createdb –no-createrole alfresco

do you have postgres installed
is the service running
I have done it using mysql
This is what I have done, prior to alfresco custom install
I have installed mysql-server
created databse alfresco
created mysql user alfresco
gave permission (grant all ) to user alfresco for database alfresco

Then after alfreso installation downloaded mysqljava driver to tomcat/lib (if you are using postgresql u dont need to do this, postgresql java driver is there by default )
Try out similar method for postgresql , in case if you are selecting postgresql

I had the same and was able to fix this by uninstalling (/etc/init.d/alfresco stop ; rm -rf /opt/alfresco-<version>), then disabled selinux (edit /etc/selinux/config ; set mode to disabled ; reboot), then restarted the installer. Also, in the process, I removed the firewall rules with iptables -F.
