The current process when adding a group to a site seems to avoid the site invite workflow completely and members of the group just get access to the site.

Is it possible to change this to send out an invite to all members of the group added to the site for them to then accept? We are looking to add a page for the user to accept before they can access the site they are invited to and adding it to the invite process seems to be the simplest solution unless there is a way to catch the first time a user visits a site to display the terms then.

Thanks

Garry

Have a look at the Welcome dashlet available since version 4 and use that as a template for a creating dashlet that explain terms and by removing it you accept the terms. Will not prevent users from actually using Share though.

Hi, Thanks for your reply, unfortunately displaying the terms but allowing access to the site isn't really a solution that we could roll with.

I am not sure whether customising the workflow as I mentioned previously is the best way to achieve what we want but we really need to restrict access to any site content until the terms have been accepted and the only way I can see that this is possible across the share webapp and WebDAV / CMIS is to make it part of the invite process.

Garry
