Hi All

Is it possible to use environment variables in the global properties file?

I have currently deployed the Alfresco war to JBoss 4.2.2.GA on a Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit machine.

In setting up this environment I installed the usual OpenOffice, ImageMagick and swftools and want to configure the paths to these tools through environment properties that are set via the batch file when starting JBoss.

An example would be:

ooo.exe=${OO_HOME}\bin\soffice

Where the OO_HOME environment variable is set at JBoss startup time and can be different on each server I want to deploy Alfresco to. I would rather just change a single env.bat or env.sh file called during JBoss startup rather than having to edit the alfresco-global.properties file for every installation as well as other non-alfresco config files

Regards

Steve
