Hi,

There are a couple of ways you could go about this.

Firstly, to change the navigation bar and remove the site members link, you'll want to override the collaboration-navigation webscript to remove that item from collaboration-navigation.get.html.ftl. I'd be tempted to create a new webscript to replace that one and then create a module to swap those two components.

See Dave's blog for more information on extending Share like that. He's got lots of blogs on the various extensibility options, but this might be a good starting point: http://blogs.alfresco.com/wp/ddraper/2011/08/12/customizing-alfresco-share-freemarker-templates/

Secondly: to modify how the site dashboard configuration looks by default, you'll want to create a custom site-preset with the dashboard components you want. Take a look at the Alfresco help file for information on that: http://docs.alfresco.com/4.0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.alfresco.enterprise.doc%2Ftasks%2Fkb-preset-create.html

HTH,
David.
