I found that when creating a collaboration site in alfresco share, actually alfresco created a space for that site in the repository.If I want to put some thing that is already in the repository but not in the site space, do I have a option to add a content as a link to the site reference to the con

I dont think this is possible in the way you want. It however looks like this is an issue on the Roadmap for the next major release - Odin.
