      <description>I set up Alfresco 3.4.b on an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS server.&amp;nbsp; It worked fine for a while, but now when I try to go to the main page, I get a 404 status, with the description "The requested resource ( ) is not available."&amp;nbsp; I'm also running Alfresco as a non-superuser so that I can store its content on an N</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I never found a good fix for this. I discovered that the problem occurred because the NFS share which was storing the data, but not the metadata, was unavailable when the alfresco service restarted one time. Apparently, Alfresco went nuts at that point, and the only way to resolve it was to restore from backups. I hope that you can find a better answer.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
