    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I think you can use one of the feature of alfresco i.e. policies and behavior.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In that you can call your services when user take some action on particular node. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So what you can do is you can track the API for download content then you can add behavior which will call your service for sending mail.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Now each time user download the content your services will be called automatically and it will send the email.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;For this you need to first explore the Policies and Behavior in alfresco.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
