keping a copy of my installation and updating the following way helped me in my alfresco 4.0.d installation

If you have used community installer in installation then download alfresco-community-solr-4.0.e, unzip—> ..alf_data\keystore and update generate _keystores batch file alfresco_home with your alfresco directory and run this batch file.

certificate updation completes
