    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I just finished applying the new solr SSL certification.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I refered the link "&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_And_SOLR#Generating_new_SSL_certificates" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_And_SOLR#Generating_new_SSL_certificates&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;" &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I had lots of confusion when I started, mainly becasue of lack of exposure, I was wondering if some thing happens wrong, my instance will not work,later I thought I will go ahead, This is what I have done&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;made a copy of the existing Alfresco installation directory, I did this because if anything goes wrong, I can restore to the default&lt;BR /&gt;Then downloaded "alfresco-community-solr-4.0.e.zip"&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; [url]&lt;A href="https://process.alfresco.com/ccdl/?file=release/community/build-00007/alfresco-community-solr-4.0.e.zip" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;https://process.alfresco.com/ccdl/?file=release/community/build-00007/alfresco-community-solr-4.0.e.zip&lt;/A&gt; [/url]&lt;BR /&gt;Unziped&amp;nbsp; "alfresco-community-solr-4.0.e.zip" [I was worried where to unzip, you can create a new directory any where and unzip it]&lt;BR /&gt;now in the unzip solr directory, you go to "solrDire/alf_data/keystore/ " &lt;BR /&gt;You will see "generate_keystores.sh" , make a copy of it named"generate_keystores.sh-org" [This is in case if U want to get the orginal file]&lt;BR /&gt;Edit "generate_keystores.sh" , &lt;BR /&gt;change &lt;BR /&gt; [b]ALFRESCO_HOME=/opt/alfresco-4.0.2[/b]&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp; to &lt;BR /&gt; ALFRESCO_HOME=/opt/UrAlfrescoInstalDir&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now&amp;nbsp; do chmod +x generate_keystores.sh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then run it using &lt;BR /&gt;./generate_keystores.sh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;U will get the following simmilar results&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using CATALINA_BASE:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; /opt/UrDMInstallDir/tomcat&lt;BR /&gt;Using CATALINA_HOME:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; /opt/UrDMInstallDir/tomcat&lt;BR /&gt;Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/UrDMInstallDir/tomcat/temp&lt;BR /&gt;Using JRE_HOME:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; /opt/UrDMInstallDir/java&lt;BR /&gt;Using CLASSPATH:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; /opt/UrDMInstallDir/tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar&lt;BR /&gt;PID file (/opt/UrDMInstallDir/tomcat/temp/catalina.pid) found but no matching process was found.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;keping a copy of my installation and updating the following way helped me in my alfresco 4.0.d installation&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you have used community installer in installation then download alfresco-community-solr-4.0.e, unzip—&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp; ..alf_data\keystore and update generate _keystores batch file alfresco_home&amp;nbsp; with your alfresco directory and run this batch file.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;certificate updation completes &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://connect.hyland.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
